The Bengaluru Police has issued a traffic advisory for the Republic Day celebrations in the city, which includes important instructions for parking and entry of emergency and media vehicles at the parade ground. Safety and smooth traffic flow are the primary concerns during such events, and it is crucial for everyone attending or involved to follow the guidelines provided.

According to the advisory, emergency vehicles like ambulances and fire tenders will enter the parade ground from Gate No. 2 and park behind the Fort Wall. On the other hand, media vehicles and OB vans will enter through Gate No. 3 and park on the eastern side of the parade ground.

Invitees with Car Passes are requested to park their vehicles at specified places, ensuring that the designated parking areas are utilized effectively.

Additionally, invitees attending the parade are advised not to bring mobile phones, helmets, cameras, radios, umbrellas, or any other equipment to the parade ground. This measure is taken to maintain security and ensure the smooth running of the event.

In terms of traffic diversions, vehicles traveling from BRV junction to Kamaraj Road junction on Cubbon Road will experience diverted routes until 10:30 am on Friday. For example, vehicles coming from Infantry Road towards Manipal Center will need to follow a diversion route via Safina Plaza, Main Guard Cross Road, Alies Circle, Dispensary Road, Kamaraja Road, Dickenson Road junction, K.R. Road, and Cubbon Road Junction.
