🚗🏦 **NHAI Issues Advisory for FASTag Users: Paytm Payments Bank Excluded from Recommended Banks’ List**

Heads up, drivers using FASTags! The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has some news for you. NHAI has recommended 32 banks for purchasing FASTags, but notably missing from the list is Paytm Payments Bank.

This means that if you’re looking to buy or update your FASTag, you won’t be able to do so through Paytm Payments Bank. The deadline for using FASTags is February 29, and after that date, there will be consequences for non-compliance.

Some of the registered banks where you can purchase or update your FASTag include Airtel Payments Bank, Axis Bank, and several others. NHAI’s aim behind this move is to enhance the electronic toll collection system across the country.

A crucial point to note is that FASTags without proper KYC (Know Your Customer) verification will not be accepted after February 29. The initial deadline for this was January 31, so make sure you get your KYC updated in time.

To update your FASTag’s KYC details, follow these steps

1. Visit https://fastag.ihmcl.com

4. Navigate to ‘My Profile’ to update your KYC details
