Aim to Run Hydrogen Train
The first Hydrogen- powered train will run on the Jind- Sonipat route in December 2024. the main aim of this new hydrogen powered train is to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by the year 2023, with 35 more hydrogen trains planned by 2025. This important move positions India with countries like- Germany and China in adopting eco-friendly train technology.
