Kerela Man Heavily Fined: Kerela Police revoked a person’s driving licence along a fine of rupees 2.5 lakh for blocking and not giving path to an ambulance.

An ambulance in Kerela was on its way to Thrissur Medical College when a car driver was seen blocking the path of the emergency vehicle. Kerela Police acted strictly against the car driver on seeing the actions of the driver by giving a fine of rupees 2.5 lakh to the owner alongwith a revoke of driving licence.

The Dashcam footage of the Ambulance clearly shows the car was being tailed by the emergency vehicle for 2 minutes straight on a narrow two lane road. Despite the ambulance driver’s constant honking and blaring sirens the car driver was seen blocking the vehicle’s path. The inappropriate behaviour was taken strictly by the Kerela Police. The Video of the incident was shared on social media platforms which went viral praising the action taken by police.
