New Year 2025:As New Year celebrations approach, Uttarakhand’s popular tourist destinations like Nainital, Kainchi Dham, Bhowali, Bhimtal, and Almora are expected to see a large influx of visitors. The traffic police have issued a diversion plan to ensure smooth travel and safety from December 30 (9 AM) to January 1 (10 PM).
New Year 2025:Traffic Routes to Tourist Spots
- Vehicles from Bareilly Road: Diverted via Teenpani Tiraha → Gola Bypass → Nariman Tiraha.
- Vehicles from Rudrapur: Routed through Pantnagar Tiraha → NH-109 → Lal Kuan → Teenpani Tiraha → Gola Bypass.
- Vehicles from Rampur Road: Directed from Ganna Center Tiraha → Teenpani Tiraha → Nariman Tiraha.
- Kala Dungi Road Vehicles: Diverted via Uncha Pul Tiraha → Panchakki Tiraha → Nariman Tiraha.
Returning Routes to Plains
- From Bhowali/Bhimtal to Rudrapur/Bareilly: Vehicles will use the Nariman Tiraha → Gola Bypass.
- From Kala Dungi Road: Routed via Calltax → Chambal Bridge → Lal Dot Tiraha → Uncha Pul Tiraha.
Special Provisions
- Shuttle Service: Tourists’ vehicles may be parked at Gola Par or Kathgodam if traffic congestion increases. Shuttles will be provided for further travel.
- Heavy Vehicle Ban: No heavy vehicles will be allowed on these routes during the specified period.
