Republic Day Chief Guest: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will embark on a State visit to India from January 25 to 26 January, 2025 at the invitation of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to the resources, during the visit President Prabowo will be the Chief Guest for India’s 76th Republic Day celebration. India and Indonesia have a very strong and long relationship rooted from centuries as both countries share amazing history and culture.
Indonesia plays an important role in India’s Act East Policy while advancing the country’s vision for the Indo- Pacific region as being competant Comprehensive Strategic Partners.
Aim of the Visit
The main aim of the visit is to provide an opportunity for both the leaders to conduct a review of bilateral relations. They will also discuss important global and regional issues of both country’s interest.
