Sweden Worst Mass Shooting: Sweden faced worst my shooting in the history leaving at least 11 people dead and 6 injured at the Adult Education Centre West of Stockholm.
The Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer called this mass shooting “an event that shakes our entire society to its core.” The Stockholm officials want that the death toll could rise. The gun violence at school is very rare in Sweden but the bloodshed scene from the attack made difficult to count the number of dead among the Carnage. According to the head of local police, the suspected Gunman was found among the dead.
School Campus Risbergska, offers primary and secondary education and classes for adults following the age group of 20 and older. It offers Swedish language classes for immigrants and vocational training and programs for people with intellectual disabilities. The school falls on the outskirts of orey bro that is around 200 km west of stockholm.
The shooting had started on Tuesday afternoon after many students had gone home following a National exam. Just when the attack began, the students sheltered themselves in nearby buildings and other parts of the school were evacuated.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said, “Today we have witnessed brutal, deadly violence against completely innocent people. This is the worst mass shooting in Swedish history. Many questions remain unanswered and I cannot provide those answers either. But the time will come when we will know what happened, how it could occur and what motives may have been behind it let us not speculate.”
