To ensure the smooth organization of the event, the District Magistrate has given directions and preparations are currently underway in Nalanda. Adequate security arrangements have been made, with police officials deployed at various locations.
Moving on to the Republic Day celebration in Patna, it will include a parade with 20 contingents, including flags representing 14 departments of the Bihar government. However, the height of the flags in the parade will not exceed 15 feet. It’s important to note that children below the age of 15 will not be included in the contingents.
The event in Patna will kick off at 9 am at Gandhi Maidan, with the Governor of Bihar performing the flag hoisting and taking the salute. Additionally, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also be in attendance at the event.
Prior to the main event, rehearsals for the Republic Day parade were conducted at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. These rehearsals were inspected by officials, including the district magistrate and SSP. The preparations at Gandhi Maidan have now been completed.
In Nalanda, the Republic Day celebration will showcase attractive tableaus presented by various departments. Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, who is in charge of the Finance, Commerce, and Parliamentary Affairs department, will have the honor of hoisting the flag during the main event.
