Bus carrying marriage party catches fire in UP, multiple fatalities reported

A tragic incident unfolded in Uttar Pradesh as a bus carrying a marriage party caught fire near Barhi village in Ghazipur district. Multiple casualties have been reported, with authorities still assessing the situation.

In a recent incident near Barhi village in Ghazipur district, Uttar Pradesh, a private bus carrying around 50 passengers to a wedding function caught fire. The cause of the fire was reported to be the bus coming in contact with a high-tension wire.

The exact number of casualties is yet to be confirmed as senior officials are currently at the scene. Local residents were unable to approach the burning bus due to the presence of CNG cylinders onboard.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences over the incident and has directed officials to provide assistance to the families of the victims.
