Curfew Lifted in Nagpur: The curfew that was imposed in parts of Nagpur has been lifted after violence broke out over a controversial Aurangzeb-related case. Peace Restored Gradually
The trouble started when tensions rose over an incident connected to Aurangzeb, the Mughal emperor. This sparked protests that turned violent. In order to stop further damage, the local government decided to impose a curfew in areas most affected by the violence.
With increased police presence and efforts to calm the situation, peace was gradually restored. After a few days, the authorities determined that the curfew was no longer needed, and it was officially lifted. According to a senior, the riot control police units have been kept on alert at different locations and a substantial force is also ready as a reserve force in the control room.
While the curfew has ended, the situation is still being closely monitored. The government has urged everyone to cooperate with authorities and help keep the peace in Nagpur.
