Deepawali 2024 will be celebrated in Ayodhya’s Ram Temple marking the first Diwali at the newly built Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Ayodhya’s Ram Temple will illuminate Diwali with eco-friendly, long lasting lamps designed to prevent soot damage and reduce emissions, adding environmental consciousness to the celebration. The temple trust aims to make Ayodhya not just a centre of religion and faith this Diwali, but also a symbol of cleanliness and environmental consciousness
Aim Set for World Record
The historic city of Ayodhya is all geared up for a grand Deepotsav celebration this Diwali, and Uttar Pradesh government is aiming to create a Guinness World Record with over 2.5 million diyas (earthen lamps) illuminating the ghats of the sacred Sarayu River. This festival of lights will convey a message of faith, environmental control, and beauty, making Ayodhya’s Deepawali a truly global spectacle.
