As a feminist anti-war group, CODEPINK is use 2024 International Women’s Day to bring women’s struggles in Palestine and the United States together by putting reproductive justice at the forefront of global affairs. Activists Advocate for Ceasefire and Reproductive Justice in Palestine

Hey there, readers! Today, we’re diving into a powerful movement where CODEPINK LA and the Palestinian Feminist Collective are joining forces to push for a ceasefire and reproductive justice in Palestine.

Reproductive justice is a crucial peace issue, as the genocide in Gaza serves as a sobering reminder. It’s a global problem. When we discuss peace, we must address the issue of reproductive justice in Gaza and in all of our communities.

In the days preceding International Women’s Day, from March 4–7, CODEPINK and Mothers and Daughters Against Genocide will be present in the halls of Congress. Their goal is to schedule meetings with the 24 women in the Progressive Caucus who identify as proponents of reproductive rights but have not demanded a ceasefire in Gaza. They’re going to deliver a petition, pleading with the ladies to act morally and demand an end to hostilities.
