In a significant development for India’s defense sector, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the launch of “Mission Divyastra,” unveiling the Agni-5 missile equipped with Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology.
The MIRV technology allows a single missile to deploy multiple warheads at different locations, showcasing India’s advancement in this sophisticated capability and placing the country in a select group of nations with such technology.

Prime Minister Modi lauded the scientists at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for their dedication and hard work on Mission Divyastra.
