Terrorists opened fire on a bus transporting pilgrims in Reasi( Jammu and Kashmir) causing the vehicle to plunge into a canyon and nine pilgrims to die and thirty-three wounded.
Locals said that two masked militants opened fire on the bus, injuring several passengers as well as the driver. Officials stated that the post-mortem examination is the only way to verify reports from the community that three passengers perished from gunshot wounds and the remaining passengers in the bus accident.
The victims were traveling to Katra town, which serves as a base camp for tourists visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi temple in the Trikuta Hills, after visiting Shiv Khori, a Lord Shiva shrine close to Ransoo.

The bus had left Shivpuri and was heading towards Katra when we heard news that militants were waiting and firing. The bus plunged down a ravine as a result of the driver losing control.
