Tragic collision of 2 Navy Helicopters in Malaysia Parade Rehearsal Results in 10 Deaths

A tragic incident occurred during a rehearsal for the Royal Malaysian Navy parade when two navy helicopters collided in Malaysia. The collision led to the deaths of all 10 individuals onboard, who were members of the pilot team involved in the accident at Lumut Naval Base in Perak state.

Spectators at the parade rehearsal captured the heartbreaking moment on their phones as both helicopters crashed into the water. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation, with authorities collecting debris from both helicopters for analysis.

The Defense Minister of Japan commented on the incident, suggesting that both helicopters may have collided with each other before crashing into the water. This incident in Malaysia was not an isolated one, as 2 Japanese navy helicopters also collided in the Pacific Ocean, resulting in one death and leaving 7 individuals missing.

In a separate violent clash, Filipino soldiers engaged with a group of Muslim rebels accused of past bomb explosions and violence in the region. The clash, which took place in Dato Saudi Amputuan city in Maguindanao Del Sur province, resulted in the death of the rebel commander and 11 members. Seven soldiers were injured during the one-hour fight with suspected members of the ‘Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters’.

The bodies of the deceased crew members from the helicopter collision in Malaysia have been sent to the hospital for identification, while investigations into both incidents are ongoing. More details are expected to be revealed as the probes progress.
