Delhi Farmers Prepare for March as Noida Seals Borders and Haryana Braces for Barriers, Causing Traffic Chaos

As Delhi farmers gear up for a massive march to Parliament, Noida seals its borders and Haryana braces for barriers, creating a traffic chaos like never before. Vehicle searches and riot control measures have caused massive delays on Delhi-Noida borders, with commuters experiencing at least 30 minutes of delays. Prohibitory orders and traffic advisories have been imposed to prevent farmers from entering Delhi, amid fears of anti-national elements disrupting peace. The Haryana police have warned farmers of huge losses if they join the protest. With key road stretches expected to be closed, traffic police have issued advisories for commuters to use alternative routes. As tensions rise, the demand for a guaranteed Minimum Support Price for crops and the quashing of FIRs remain at the center of the farmers’ protest led by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha.

Massive traffic jams have been reported on the Delhi-Noida borders due to vehicle searches in anticipation of the farmers’ protest. Authorities are using riot control vehicles and drones to monitor the situation.

Commuters are experiencing delays of at least 30 minutes as stringent security measures are being implemented. The farmers are planning to march to Parliament to demand higher compensation and developed plots.

To prevent farmers from entering Delhi, prohibitory orders and traffic advisories have been imposed. There is a concern that anti-national elements may try to disturb the peace, so precautions are being taken.

Preparations have been made to block farmers from entering Delhi at the borders with Haryana. The Haryana police have warned farmers about the potential “huge losses” they may face if they join the protest.

The farmers are demanding a law guaranteeing Minimum Support Price for their crops and the quashing of FIRs (First Information Reports) against them. The protest is being led by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha, with outfits from Haryana expected to join.

Closure of key road stretches near Chilla, Kalindi Kunj, and DND flyway is expected, leading to even more traffic congestion. The traffic police have issued advisories, urging commuters to use alternative routes to avoid heavy traffic.

Vehicle movement has been restricted on certain stretches, and diversions have been put in place to manage the traffic flow. Protests near the Greater Noida Authority’s office are also expected, causing heavy traffic on multiple roads.

In view of the protest, Section 144 has been imposed on February 7 and 8, which prohibits the assembly of four or more people in an area. The authorities are taking all necessary precautions to maintain law and order during the protest.
