The intricate artwork, created by renowned rangoli artist Vivek Mishra, adorns the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir in Golmuri, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Using three tons of rangoli powder and ten vibrant colors, Mishra dedicated ten hours a day for the masterpiece, which pays homage to Lord Shri Ram. The rangoli has attracted attention worldwide, with an application submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records. This incredible creation comes as part of the grand celebration leading up to the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram’s idol in Ayodhya, to be held on January 22nd.

Devotee Sets World Record with Massive Rangoli Celebrating Lord Ram

In a remarkable display of devotion, a devotee of Lord Ram has set a world record by creating an 18,000 square feet rangoli. The rangoli, which features Lord Shri Ram’s name, was made in the premises of the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir in Golmuri, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

Rangoli artist Vivek Mishra took on the incredible task of creating this elaborate artwork. Using three tons of rangoli powder, Mishra brought the rangoli to life with over ten vibrant colors. The work on the rangoli began on January 5th and took ten hours a day to complete.

The dedication and skill required for such an undertaking are truly commendable. An application has been submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records to register this rangoli, and it’s clear to see why. The devotion and effort put into creating this massive artwork is worthy of recognition.

The week-long rituals leading up to the ceremony began on January 16th, with various ceremonies, including Sharkaradivas, Phaladivas, and Pushpadhivas, taking place during this time.

The joyous occasion of the installation of Lord Ram’s idol in the Ram Mandir has also been celebrated in Bhopal. The Gayatri Shaktipeeth has been beautifully decorated as part of the Ram Prarthana Mahotsav, a grand celebration leading up to the installation. Artist Yiren Verma shared details about the artwork, including a Rangoli design inspired by the Ram Mandir and Ram Lalla.
