119 Indian Deportees To Land In Amritsar Today From US, Not Likely To Be In Chains….

Illegal Migrants To Reach India Today: A US military aircraft carrying around 119 Indian illegal migrants from the country will land today at Amritsar International Airport today between 10 pm and 11 pm. The second group of deportees will likely not be in chains.

Flight To Land In Amritsar Airport

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting held on Friday with US President Donald Trump had some serious discussion on the Immigration with many other issues. After that today, a US Military Aircraft will arrive in Amritsar International Airport carrying 119 illegal migrants after deportation from US. The flight will land at the airport at around 10 pm to 11pm. According to the reports, the flight includes 67 from Punjab, 33 from Haryana, 8 from Gujarat, 3 from UP, 2 each from Maharashtra and Rajasthan and 1 each from Goa, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

No Chains Or Handcuffs

The first group of deportees had arrived earlier in India in handcuffs and shackles with was criticized by the people. So this time the second group of deportees will likely not be in chains as requested by the Indian government.

Following the bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed India’s commitment to repatriating verified Indian nationals while stressing the need to combat human trafficking networks that exploit vulnerable migrants.
