Winter Chill Grips Badrinath
As December approaches, Badrinath experiences severe cold with temperatures dropping below zero degrees Celsius. Although snowfall hasn’t yet begun in Uttarakhand’s mountains, the chilly weather has caused streams and waterfalls, including the iconic Indradhara near Badrinath, to freeze.

Dry Weather Across the State
Meteorologists predict no rainfall for the next four days across Uttarakhand. Except for Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar, where dense fog is expected, the weather will remain dry until November 25. The plains are also experiencing colder mornings and evenings due to foggy conditions.

Dehradun’s Record Low Temperature
While Dehradun recorded a maximum daytime temperature of 27.1°C, two degrees above normal, it marked the lowest temperature in the past decade.

Fog Alert for Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar
The Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for dense fog in these regions, likely to intensify the cold in the plains.
