During the Harsil Apple festival, Singh also emphasized the importance of the Vibrant Village Program, which aims to revitalize border villages like Jadong by promoting homestays and boosting tourism and local products. He appreciated the ongoing homestay construction project initiated by the Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) and the district administration.
