Free Treatment Scheme: Today Nitin Gadkari makes a big announcement by introducing ‘ Cashless Treatment’ Scheme all across India by March 2025. Road accident survivors to get free treatment ensuring quick medical help.
Nationwide Treatment Soon
The road accident survivors will soon get free treatment scheme nationwide by March 2025. The government will be offering 1.5 lakh rupees for seven days of treatment under the Cashless Treatment Scheme. This initiative is currently running in some states and will be available nationwide by March 2025. The scheme will also provide some amount to the deceased in a Hit-and- Run case.
Goal Of The Scheme
The main goal of introducing ‘Free Treatment’ is to save 50,000 lives by ensuring quick medical aid. Road and Transportation Minister, Nitin Gadkari is also introducing high-tech safety features for trucks and buses, including a warning system for drowsy drivers and automatic braking to prevent road accidents. People who help crash victims will soon get bigger rewards by the government. On the other hand, due to the shortage of skilled drivers the government will soon setup new driving center’s to improve safety on the roads leading safer highways in the country.

He said, “We have started a new scheme- Cashless Treatment. Immediately after an accident occurs, within 24 Hrs. when the information goes to the Police. We will provide expenses for 7 days treatment of the patient or a maximum of upto Rs. 1.5 lakh for treatment. We will also provide Rs. 2 lakh for the deceased in Hit and Run cases……”
