In a recent crackdown on illegal activities, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) made headlines by arresting 10 passengers returning to Pakistan for visa forgery. These accused individuals hail from Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin and were apprehended at Karachi airport.

The fake visas they carried were no ordinary counterfeits; they lacked essential security features like holograms, watermarks, and had tampered stamps. It’s a concerning issue that raises questions about the effectiveness of our visa verification processes.

But the law enforcement efforts didn’t stop there. The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) also made significant strides in their operations by apprehending 13 drug peddlers and seizing a whopping 363 kg of drugs in separate raids. Substances like Ice, ketamine, and heroin were among the illicit drugs confiscated in different locations.

An ANF spokesman shed light on the successful operations, emphasizing the agency’s commitment to combating drug trafficking and related crimes. These arrests and seizures underscore the ongoing battle against narcotics in the region.

The detainees from the visa forgery case were swiftly transferred to the FIA’s anti-human trafficking cell for further investigation. The individuals, including Asher Raza, Hasnain Ashraf, Owaisullah, Mustansar Iqbal, Amir Hamza, Zeeshan Azam, Bilal Hassan, Faizan Hassan, Arsalan Afzal, and Ali Hamza, were intercepted upon their arrival from Dubai on flight FZ333 at Jinnah Terminal.
