In a recent meeting at Satyanarayan Temple, Firozabad, leaders from revered temples across Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura, and other prominent spiritual centers announced their unified support for celebrating Diwali on October 31. Notable attendees, including Munna Lal Shastri from Bankebihari Temple, emphasized the importance of national unity through a synchronized celebration. By honoring this decision, followers are expected to promote cultural solidarity across the nation.

Supporting Sanatan Dharma

The decision to celebrate Diwali on a single day strengthens unity within Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism). Spiritual leaders believe that celebrating Diwali together on October 31 fosters a cohesive and harmonious community, enhancing the shared cultural spirit of the festival.

Why Was There Uncertainty?

The ambiguity stemmed from differences in regional astrological calculations. However, the alignment of major temple authorities on the date aims to remove doubts, encouraging everyone to join in unity on October 31.
