According to meteorologists, regions such as Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Tehri, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, and Almora are likely to witness light rainfall and snow today.

The meteorological department reports that these weather conditions could lead to a sharp decline in temperatures, intensifying the cold from mountains to plains. Meanwhile, Dehradun and other low-lying areas are expected to remain dry but chilly.
Temperature Trends
On Sunday, Dehradun recorded a maximum temperature of 24.5°C, four degrees above normal, and a minimum of 7.2°C, marking a record high for recent years. The rising minimum temperature is attributed to changes in weather patterns.
